Internal Committees

SAB members sit on at least one internal committee.

Communications Committee

Chair - Chris Burgess

This committee oversees communications from the SAB. This includes SAB emails to campus leadership and campus staff/faculty as appropriate. This committee also edits and maintains the SAB web page.

Engagement Committee

Chair - Jessica Bulleri

This committee is addressing both the engagement of SAB members and the wider campus staff in the work that SAB does. They are responsible for organizing the staff forums.

Finance Committee

Chair - Fisher Dietz

This committee is responsible for the budget of the SAB. They also administer the UCSC SAB Scholarship Program twice a year.

Programs Committee

Chair - Michelle Sohnlein

Our programs committee organizes the events that the SAB puts on for staff employees. Some of these events include the staff appreciation picnic, the outstanding staff award and milestone event, the mentorship program and the holiday food and fund drive.

Advocacy Committee

Chair - Lauren Morgan

This committee will help inform with the SAB should advocate for on the behalf of staff and do all the legwork once a topic of advocacy is chosen by the full board.
