Annual Staff Appreciation Picnic

Join with other staff members on May 8th, 2025 for the
Staff Appreciation Picnic
in the Quarry Amphitheater!

The Staff Advisory Board is hosting the annual Staff Appreciation Picnic this year on May 8th in the Quarry Amphitheater from 11:30am - 1:30pm.  Parking has been made available to those without parking permits in the Granary and Barn Theater lots at the base of campus.  Parking will be $10.  Free shuttles will run from the lots to the amphitheater from 11:00am to 1:30pm.  There will also be additional ADA spaces available at Quarry Plaza.

Lunch will be catered by UCSC Dining.  The fare is mediterranean and the menu includes both vegan and glutten free options.  Entrees and sides include:

Grilled Chicken with Artichoke and Olive Sauce (gf)
Grilled Eggplant & Broccolini with cumin roasted tomatoes (gf/v)
Crispy Falafel (v) with tzatziki
Quinoa salad with green beans, tomatoes and toasted almonds (gf/v)
Armenian Salad with cucumbers, tomato and feta (on the side)
Mixed lettuces with fresh herbs and lemon vinaigrette (gf/v)
Assorted cookies
Sodas and Water

Please RSVP for the event so that we may get an idea of how much food to provide.  We will also be having a raffle and you MUST sign up using the RSVP form.  You can participate in the raffle even if you can't make the picnic!  Only staff members are eligible to receive a raffle prize.

We are also looking for organizations that would like to table at this year’s picnic. Tabling is available to on-campus, staff-focused departments and programs.  Please note, space is limited. To apply for a table, please fill out this Google form. Applications are due by April 11th and organizations will be notified of their participation by April 18th.
